OH SNAP! Pickling Co., a division of GLK Foods, is installing two SOMIC 424 W3 wraparound case packers at its new 70,000 sq ft plant in Little Chute, Wisconsin, to handle growing demand for single-serve pickle pouches.

SOMIC Group, parent company of SOMIC America, completed the acquisition of MechanikZentrum Schmidbauer, a mechanical manufacturing company in Haag, Germany. All 35 employees were retained, and the division is now known as SOMIC Haag, manufacturing precision parts for robotics, optics, aerospace and medical industries.
