Seiren to boost liquid crystal polyester fiber capacity by 50%
Seiren plans to increase production capacity of liquid crystal polyester fiber by about 50% within two years, investing several hundred million yen at subsidiary KB Seiren's plant. The fiber is used in earphone cables and optical fiber reinforcement.
