Himatsingka will expand sheet production by nearly 80% to 108 million meters per year and towel production by 60% to 40,000 tons per year over the coming months.

Himatsingka acquired the home textile portfolio of Global Brands Group Holdings Limited, including licensing rights for Tommy Hilfiger (North America), Copper Fit, and global rights for Calvin Klein Home.

Himatsingka completed capacity debottlenecking at its sheeting plant, increasing capacity from 46 million meters per annum to 61 million meters per annum.

Himatsingka commenced trial production at its new greenfield terry towel plant in Hassan, Karnataka, with an installed capacity of 25,000 tonnes per annum. Commercial production is expected in the first half of FY20.
