German company Maschinenfabrik Seydelmann KG acquired a 50% stake in American Food Equipment Company (AMFEC) in Caldwell, Idaho, to jointly develop automated food production lines for the North American market.

American Food Equipment Company (AMFEC) plans to expand its facility in Caldwell, Idaho, by 60,000 square feet and hire 50 additional employees. The expansion was supported by a property tax exemption granted by Canyon County commissioners on June 3, 2019.
