Ideal Chemi Plast

DIC Corporation's subsidiary Ideal Chemi Plast commenced construction of a new coating resins production facility in Supa industrial area, Maharashtra, India. The greenfield project will triple production capacity and is expected to begin operating in July 2023.

Japan's DIC has acquired India's Ideal Chemi Plast, which makes acrylic, alkyd, and other resins used in coatings. DIC says the acquisition will allow it to realize its expansion strategy in South Asia.
