Uteco and Bimec have signed an equity agreement to jointly propose products and services for the converting industry, combining their portfolios for flexible packaging and other converting applications.

Bimec sold slitter rewinders to Huhtamaki for its new plant in the Cairo area, Egypt, which opened in late 2018. The machines are designed for flexible packaging production.
