Hitachi Automation

Hitachi, Ltd. and Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems will establish Hitachi Automation, Ltd. on April 1, 2022, by reorganizing and integrating operations within group companies to reinforce the robotic SI business in Japan and ASEAN countries. The robotic SI business will be transferred from Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems to KEC Corporation.

Hitachi announced that its subsidiaries Hitachi Automation and Kyoto Robotics will merge on April 1, 2023, to strengthen the robotic SI business in Japan and ASEAN countries. The merger combines Hitachi Automation's front engineering with Kyoto Robotics' intelligent robotic vision systems.
