Galilé, owner of Escofier, will take a majority stake in German machine-tool maker Pee-Wee, creating the world's second-largest cold-forming machine-tool company. The deal is expected to close in June 2022.

Alstom commissioned a new Farman welding robot at its Le Creusot site, the highest-capacity welding robot in the railway industry. The investment of over one million euros will reduce production times for bogie manufacturing.
