Cytiva

Cytiva acquired Vanrx Pharmasystems, a Canadian manufacturer of robotic aseptic filling machines for vials, syringes, and cartridges. This is Cytiva's first acquisition since becoming a Danaher operating company.

Cytiva opened a new 80,000 ft² manufacturing facility in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, USA in December 2020 for producing Xcellerex XDR bioreactors. The facility is part of a $500 million five-year global expansion plan and will create approximately 200 jobs.

Cytiva announced a $500 million investment over five years to expand manufacturing capacity at 13 sites globally, including new lines and automation, and plans to hire nearly 1,000 personnel in Austria, China, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States.

Cytiva and Rockwell Automation announced a collaboration on March 28, 2019, to combine automation, IT and single-use solutions for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, with Cytiva joining the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork Program as an OEM Partner.
