Oerlikon Nonwoven

Oerlikon Nonwoven and Chinese systems manufacturer Shaoyang Textile Machinery are now offering joint international systems solutions for manufacturing spunbonds for hygiene applications. Oerlikon provides engineering and global service, while Shaoyang provides spinning technologies.

A European meltblown specialist has signed a contract with Oerlikon Nonwoven to invest in a two-beam, stand-alone meltblown system for manufacturing meltblown nonwovens for filtration and wipes. Commercial production is scheduled for the first half of 2020.
