Cementos Progreso plans to build three concrete plants in David, Colón, and Tocumen, Panama in 2020.

Cementos Progreso plans to expand the La Chorrera cement plant in Panama from 250,000 to 300,000 tons of cement capacity.

Cementos Progreso acquired 100% of Cemento Interoceánico, S.A. in Panama on November 15, 2019, with plans to build three concrete plants and expand the La Chorrera plant.

Cementos Progreso invested $500 million in its new San Gabriel cement plant in San Juan Sacatepéquez, Guatemala. The plant is in testing phase and will begin production in Q1 2020, with capacity of 4,500 tonnes of clinker per day and 500 new jobs.
