Aker BP and pump supplier Framo signed a six-year maintenance contract, extendable by six years, for seawater lift pumps covering all five field centres Aker BP operates. Compensation is linked to facility uptime, building on a 2018 pilot with Cognite.

Aker BP has signed a smart service contract with Cognite and Framo Services to digitalise its Ivar Aasen platform in the North Sea. The deal gives Framo live data from its pumps to predict performance and plan maintenance.
