Worthington Industries acquires Shiloh Industries' U.S. BlankLight business
Worthington Industries Inc. has acquired certain assets of Shiloh Industries' U.S. BlankLight business, expanding its laser welded products joint venture TWB Co. LLC with three facilities and adding a blanking facility to its Steel Processing business. The transaction adds about 200 employees and four facilities in Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio.

Worthington Steel's joint venture TWB Company has signed a licensing agreement with ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks for patented ablation technology to produce hot formed tailored blanks. TWB plans to install a fully automated ablation line at its Monroe, Michigan facility.
