STMicroelectronics closed the full acquisition of Swedish silicon carbide wafer manufacturer Norstel AB for $137.5 million, exercising its option to buy the remaining 45% stake.

STMicroelectronics signed an agreement to acquire 55% of Swedish silicon carbide wafer manufacturer Norstel AB, with an option to buy the remaining 45% for a total consideration of $137.5 million.
