Continental Materials Corporation

Continental Materials Corp. has acquired two Colorado Springs-based specialty construction supply firms, Fastrac Building Supply and Serenity Sliding Door Systems. Terms were not disclosed. Fastrac supplies commercial doors and hardware; Serenity manufactures sliding-door systems.

LafargeHolcim acquired the assets of Transit Mix Concrete Co., a building materials supplier in Colorado, for $27 million. The acquisition includes ready-mix operations and the Daniels Sand Quarry.
