Valmont Industries

Locweld has been awarded a contract worth nearly $50 million by Hydro-Québec to manufacture steel lattice transmission towers for the new 735 kV Micoua-Saguenay line. Production has started and will continue through February 2022.

Valmont-Newmark expanded its Bellville, Texas plant, installing a closed-loop process-water recycling system including a Liebherr Concrete Reclaimer, ALAR Auto-Vac Cement Fines Slurry Filter, and Fortrans CO2 pH Adjustment System.
