U.S. Steel Košice placed an order with Tenova LOI Thermprocess for the supply of an annealing and coating line for dynamo steel strips, including engineering, equipment delivery, and commissioning supervision.

U.S. Steel Košice placed a major order with Tenova LOI Thermprocess for the turnkey supply of an annealing and coating line for dynamo steel strips, to be called Dynamo-Line no. 4, for the production of non-grain oriented electrical steel.

U. S. Steel Košice announced a $130 million investment to build a new non-grain oriented electrical steel line in Kosice, Slovakia, with an annual capacity of 100,000 metric tons. Construction will begin mid-2019 and is targeted to be operational in Q4 2020.
