Silgan Holdings has signed a sale and purchase agreement to acquire Weener Plastics Holdings B.V., a producer of dispensing solutions, for an enterprise value of €838 million. Weener operates 19 facilities mainly in Europe and the Americas and had sales of about €450 million.
Weener Plastics acquired Proenfar, a Latin American packaging company with four plants in Colombia, Argentina and Mexico, under an agreement signed April 23, 2018. The price was not disclosed.
