OBO Bettermann

OBO Bettermann will acquire the cable management business of Rehau, including production facilities, effective February 1, 2020. The German cartel office has approved the deal.

OBO Bettermann confirmed plans to invest about €20 million in a third production facility at its site in the Lipetsk SEZ, Russia. The company is completing the second phase and will start designing the third plant by end of 2019.

OBO Bettermann will expand its production in the Lipetsk special economic zone with a third plant for cable management systems. Total investment in the project is about 17 billion rubles, with over 7 billion rubles for the third plant. Construction of the second phase is completing in early 2019.
