Cascades acquires White Birch Bear Island newsprint mill in Virginia for US$34.2 million
Cascades announced the acquisition of the Bear Island manufacturing facility in Virginia from White Birch for US$34.2 million cash. The site's newsprint machine will later be converted to recycled containerboard production.
