GrayMatter announced a strategic merger with HTSE, Inc., a Michigan-based process automation and machine control provider. The merger combines GrayMatter's industrial intelligence solutions with HTSE's automation expertise.

GrayMatter acquired E-Merge Systems, an industrial automation and systems integration company based in Richmond, Virginia. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Automatan, LLC and Systec Conveyor Corp. merged their business operations under the new name Inspire Automation, effective Jan. 7, 2019. The merger combines their material handling equipment solutions for the corrugated industry.
