Belfast Harbour

Kalmar, part of Cargotec, won a tender to supply a complete AutoRTG system to Belfast Harbour for Belfast Container Terminal. The system includes eight automated rubber-tyred gantry cranes, Kalmar Terminal Logistic System, and remote control desks. Delivery is scheduled to commence at the end of 2019.

Belfast Harbour invested £3M in a Mantsinen 300M hydraulic crane, the largest of its kind in the UK and Ireland, to enhance cargo handling capacity. The crane is due to be delivered in spring 2019.
