Tamilnadu Cements Corporation

Tamilnadu Cements announced plans to construct a new grinding mill in Alangulam, Tamil Nadu, India, costing around $5.23 million. The new unit will quadruple capacity from 0.28Mta to 0.56Mta in ten months.

Tamilnadu Cements Corporation (TANCEM) intends to begin commercial operations of a new 1 mtpa production line at its Ariyalur plant in Tamil Nadu by early 2019, with testing and trial runs starting from November 2018. The $100 million project started in May 2016 and will bring total capacity to 1.5 mtpa.
