Equinor Energy AS

Equinor Energy AS has awarded Aker Solutions an EPCIC contract to upgrade the wastewater treatment plant at the Mongstad refinery in Norway. The contract is valued between NOK 2.5 billion and NOK 4.0 billion, and the project is expected to be completed in Q4 2026.

NKT was awarded orders by OKEA ASA and Equinor Energy AS for two power cable systems to electrify the Draugen and Njord offshore platforms on the Norwegian continental shelf. The combined contract value is approximately EUR 160 million.

NKT has been awarded a turnkey contract by Equinor Energy AS to supply and install over 110 km of 145 kV high-voltage AC offshore power cable system for the Troll West electrification project in the North Sea, valued at approximately EUR 95 million.

NKT and Equinor Energy AS formalized the letter of award by signing the final contract for the supply and installation of 200 km of 80 kV HVDC offshore power cables for the Johan Sverdrup phase 2 project. The contract value is approximately EUR 110 million.
