Getinge is expanding production of DPTE-BetaBag at its existing manufacturing site in Merrimack, NH, doubling capacity to meet increased demand from vaccine production. The investment will create about 100 new jobs, with first production release planned for late 2021.

Getinge is investing €3 million to increase manufacturing capacity of polyester grafts and patches at its La Ciotat, France site. The expansion will add facility area and equipment, and is expected to create additional jobs in engineering and manufacturing.

Getinge signed an agreement with the North Denmark Region to supply its T-DOC sterile supply management solution to seven hospitals, including the New Aalborg University Hospital.

Getinge's Atrium Medical has agreed to sell its biosurgery business, which makes soft tissue reinforcement devices, to HJ Capital 1, parent of SeCQure Surgical. The deal covers all assets and liabilities except mesh liability claims, with no material financial impact.
