Alro Steel

Alro Steel has entered into an agreement to acquire certain assets of Access Metals, a Maryland-based metals service center. The transaction is expected to close on Sept. 30, 2022.

Alro Steel acquired Klein Steel Service, a premier metals supplier and processing center based in Rochester, New York. Terms were not disclosed.

Alro Steel entered an agreement to acquire certain assets of Klein Steel, a metals service center in New York, with operations in Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse. The transaction is expected to close by end of April 2022.

Alro Steel announced the completion of a warehouse expansion and office remodel at its Toledo facility, increasing the structure to 123,000 square feet, adding metal processing capabilities and doubling sheet product storage capacity.

Alro Steel opened a new 194,000-square-foot facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, replacing its previous 66,000-square-foot location. The facility opened in mid-March 2020 and added 15-20 jobs.

Alro Steel is constructing a new 200,000 square foot facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to replace its current 54,000 sq ft facility. Completion is expected in February 2020.

Alro Steel has purchased certain assets of Riverfront Steel, a metals distributor in Cincinnati, Ohio, with 85 employees and a 115,000 square foot facility.

Alro Steel acquired certain assets of Sedalia Steel Supply, including locations in Sedalia, Missouri, and Camdenton, Missouri.
