Yıldız Demir Çelik

Turkish steelmaker Yıldız Demir Çelik has started an $80 million investment for a second galvanizing production line, which will add 350,000 mt per year capacity, raising total capacity to 900,000 mt. The line is scheduled to be commissioned at the end of 2021.

Yıldız Demir Çelik has commissioned a new 1.5 million ton capacity cold rolling line at its Kocaeli factory, completing the first phase of its investment. The line follows a galvanizing and painting line that started in March 2018.

Yıldız Demir Çelik, a subsidiary of Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding, opened a flat steel production plant in Kocaeli's Alikahya region with a $300 million investment. The plant has an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons and employs 350 people, with plans to reach 600 employees after the second phase.
