Biogas Products Ltd secured an order to install a new 3000m³ membrane gas holder at Oldham Wastewater Treatment Works, as part of an £80M upgrade by United Utilities contractor Nomenca Ltd. Work is due to commence in early 2019 and take about three months.
Nomenca, part of North Midland Construction, has won both major and minor work lots for the mechanical and electrical capital works framework contract for South West Water. The framework covers AMP6 and AMP7 water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the region.
Nomenca Ltd. and BAM Nuttall, in a joint venture with South East Water, have begun a £22 million expansion of the Bray Keleher Water Treatment Works in Berkshire, increasing output from 45 to 68 million litres per day, scheduled for completion in March 2020.
