Orient Cement plans Rs 2,000 crore expansion at Devapur plant
Orient Cement Ltd, part of the CK Birla Group, plans to invest Rs 2,000 crore to expand its cement plant in Devapur, Mancherial district, Telangana, from 3.05 million tonnes to 7.5 million tonnes per annum. The company has obtained first-stage environmental clearance and expects construction to start within four months of final clearance.
