Qalaa Holdings

Qalaa Holdings signed an MoU to sell its stake in Algerian cement company Zahana to state-owned Groupe Industriel des Ciments (GICA). The transaction is expected to complete in the first half of 2019.

Glass Rock, a subsidiary of ASCOM and Qalaa Holdings, has signed contracts with 10 major contracting companies to supply rock wool insulation for the government district of Egypt's New Administrative Capital, covering approximately 400,000 square meters (2,500 tonnes) for 19 government buildings in the first phase.
