Pacific Industrial will build a new plant on the site of its Kita-Ogaki factory in Kanzaki area of Gifu Prefecture to make valves for electric vehicles, with about 14,900 square metres of floor space and operations planned from March 2025.
Sensata Technologies has completed the sale of its valves business to Japan's Pacific Industrial for a total enterprise value of about USD 175 million. The business makes engineered valves for automotive, aerospace, HVAC/R and heavy-duty vehicle customers.
Sensata Technologies agreed to sell its valves business, which makes tire valves and mechanical valves, to Pacific Industrial Co. for a total enterprise value of about $173 million. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018.
