USG Boral conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for its third manufacturing facility at Sri City SEZ, Tada, near Chennai, with an investment of USD 39 million. The plant will produce plasterboards and is expected to become operational by the end of 2019, creating over 100 jobs.

USG Boral Building Products India Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new plasterboard manufacturing plant in Sri City, India. The plant, built on 24 acres with an initial investment of Rs 300 crores, will have a capacity of 30 million square metres of plasterboard and create about 100 jobs. It is expected to be ready within 18 months.
