Biolab

KIK Custom Products, parent company of BioLab, has acquired NC Brands, a provider of specialty pool and spa chemicals. The acquisition adds brands such as Red Leopard, SeaKlear, Natural Chemistry and Coral Seas to BioLab's portfolio.

Biolab is planning to open a new plant in Pouso Alegre (MG) with an investment of R$ 450 million. The plant is part of the company's expansion into generics and CNS.

Biolab has acquired Actavis Brasil from Teva, gaining a factory in Rio de Janeiro and a portfolio of 30 products. The deal was concluded in late June 2018; the value is undisclosed but estimated at R$ 40-60 million.
