Private equity firm HKW has acquired Handling Systems and Conveyors, a designer and manufacturer of crane, hoist, conveyor and tooling solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Evoqua Water Technologies has signed a definitive agreement to purchase ProAct Services Corporation, a provider of on-site treatment services of contaminated water, for $132 million. ProAct Services has approximately 180 employees and facilities in seven US states.
