AdePlast

Swiss mortars and adhesives producer Sika is negotiating the takeover of Romanian company AdePlast, one of the biggest producers of building materials on the local market with a turnover of over EUR 100 million in 2018. The negotiations are in an advanced stage.

Romanian construction materials producer AdePlast is opening a EUR 22 million factory in Isalnita, near Craiova, to produce mortars and polystyrene. Polystyrene production will start in July 2018 and mortars production in August 2018, creating 70 jobs.
