Sumitomo SHI FW (SFW) was awarded a contract by Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co. to design and supply the boiler island for the 109 MWe Daesan Biomass Power Plant in South Korea. Commercial operation is scheduled for end of 2020.

Sumitomo SHI FW completes CFB boiler upgrade for Enefit in Estonia
Sumitomo SHI FW successfully completed a CFB boiler technology upgrade project at Enefit's Narva Power Plant in Estonia, increasing the oil shale retort gas combustion capacity to 50% of heat input. The EPC contract was signed in October 2016.
