Vard secured a contract worth approximately NOK 250 million to build the world's first autonomous and electric-driven container vessel, Yara Birkeland, for Yara. The vessel will be delivered in Q1 2020.

The U.S. Navy has selected the Naval Strike Missile from Raytheon and Kongsberg for its over-the-horizon requirement. The initial contract is worth $14.8 million, with options up to $847.6 million.
