USA Rare Earth, Inc.

USA Rare Earth is purchasing equipment to build the only rare earth magnet production facility in the Americas, as part of its efforts to establish a domestic supply chain for rare earth magnets.

USA Rare Earth broke ground on a new rare earth metal and magnet manufacturing facility in Blacksburg, South Carolina. The $1.2 billion investment is expected to create about 490 jobs, with production capacity of 6,400 tpa of sintered NdFeB magnets and 5,000 tpa of strip-cast metal, commissioning targeted to begin in 2028.
