Dongfeng and FAW partners form Dongfeng Fawer Pump joint venture in Hubei
Dongfeng Parts and Components Group and Fawer Automotive Parts agreed on 31 May 2018 in Wuhan to set up Dongfeng Fawer Pump Industry, a joint venture in Shiyan New Industrial Park, Hubei, to make pumps for commercial, passenger and electric vehicles. The venture targets RMB 260 million revenue by 2023.

Tianjin Aida and Aisin AW build new front-wheel-drive 6-speed A/T finished-product line
Tianjin Aida Automatic Transmission, a joint venture of Aisin AW and FAW Group, is adding a finished-product line for front-wheel-drive 6-speed automatic transmissions in Tianjin Development Zone, China. Shareholders added USD 31 million of capital, with production capacity of 300,000 units a year planned for April 2019.
