Teejay India, a subsidiary of Teejay Lanka, completed a $26 million expansion project at its plant in Visakhapatnam, India, adding 20 tonnes of fabric capacity per day.

Teejay Lanka completed a $15 million expansion at its India mill in Vizag, doubling capacity to 42 million metres of weft knitted fabric annually (12,500 tons). The expansion added state-of-the-art machinery and created 276 jobs.
