ELLWOOD Aluminum

Ellwood Aluminum completed construction of a 12,000-square-foot casting plant in Hubbard, Ohio, with a perfect safety record. The $60 million-plus plant features vertical direct chill casting machinery and can produce aluminum ingots up to 360 inches.

Ellwood Aluminum, a subsidiary of Ellwood Group, produced its first test casts of 14-inch diameter aluminum rods at its new $72 million aluminum cast house in Hubbard Township, Ohio. Full production is expected by January-February 2021, with some customers supplied as early as September 2020.

ELLWOOD Aluminum was approved for a $60 million capital project to establish a new facility in Hubbard, Ohio, adjacent to ELLWOOD Engineered Castings, creating dozens of jobs.
