Bauer Maschinen GmbH, in a joint venture with Nuna Logistics, successfully completed a 228-meter trench cutter bulk sample at Rio Tinto Exploration Canada's FalCon project in Saskatchewan, setting a world depth record for trench cutters. The equipment was used for kimberlite sampling to evaluate diamond content.

Bauer Maschinen GmbH will supply a BC 50 cutter and other equipment to a joint venture of Bauer and Nuna Logistics for Rio Tinto's diamond exploration in Saskatchewan, Canada. The cutter will reach a record depth of 250 meters.
