PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe

TELZAS Sp. z o.o. signed a contract with Nokia Solutions and Networks to supply power supply and monitoring systems for the GSM-R system being built for PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, the largest project of its kind in Europe. The GSM-R system is part of the ERTMS implementation and is expected to be completed by 2023.

Nokia, with partners Herkules, Pozbud and Wasko, signed a five-year contract with PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe to deploy a nationwide GSM-R and mission-critical backhaul network across about 14,000 km of rail tracks in Poland. Full GSM-R coverage is expected by 2023.
