Stepan Co. acquired Invista's aromatic polyester polyol business, including two manufacturing sites in Wilmington, NC, USA and Vlissingen, Netherlands, for approximately $100 million in sales.

Stepan Company closed the acquisition of a surfactant production facility in Ecatepec, Mexico and a portion of BASF's associated surfactants business. The facility has over 50,000 metric tons of capacity.
