National Group delivered the world's first Caterpillar D11 dozer to BHP Mitsubishi Alliance's Blackwater mine in Queensland in December 2019, with a second delivered in January 2020, and plans to deliver four more.

The National Group secured the first production Cat D11 dozer, which will work at BHP Mitsubishi Alliance's Blackwater Coal Operations. Five more machines are to be deployed in the coming months.

National Group delivered a Hitachi EX5600 excavator to BHP Mitsubishi Alliance's Peak Downs mine and a Liebherr R 996B excavator to BHP Mitsui Coal's Poitrel mine in Queensland's Bowen Basin.

Construction of the second of two new Liebherr 9800 excavators was completed at BMA's Goonyella Riverside mine in the Bowen Basin, as part of an accelerated stripping project to increase waste stripping and coal exposure capacity. Each excavator cost about $16 million and moves about 15 million banked cubic metres of dirt per year.
