METYX USA is adding 11,000 tons of production capacity for composite reinforcements at its factory in Gastonia, North Carolina, bringing forward planned 2020 and 2021 investments into 2019. The new capacity will be available in the second half of 2019.

METYX USA announced a new technical textiles manufacturing facility in Ranlo, North Carolina, to produce glass and carbon fabrics for the North American composites market. Production is expected to start by the end of Q3 2018, and the company expects to employ up to 200 people.
