SA Water awarded a package of contracts worth over $500 million combined. A five-year agreement for up to $275 million was signed with SUEZ Water for operation of five water treatment plants and five wastewater treatment plants. Lendlease Services entered into a four-year contract for up to $237 million for field services supporting water and wastewater mains. Contracts come into effect from July 1, 2021.

South Australia Water awarded a €170 million five-year contract to Suez for the operation of five drinking water and five wastewater treatment plants in metropolitan Adelaide, starting July 2021.

John Holland and Guidera O'Connor, in a joint venture, have been selected by SA Water to deliver capital projects under a four-year framework agreement valued at up to $500 million, covering water services in southern metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.

AECOM has been engaged by Enerven to provide detailed design services for a solar PV farm and battery energy storage system at the Adelaide Desalination Plant in South Australia, as part of SA Water's Zero Cost Energy Future initiative. The design program is expected to take approximately three months.

SA Water Corporation awarded Sacyr a contract to design, build and manage a tertiary water treatment plant for agricultural use north of Adelaide, Australia. The project is valued at A$133.4 million (€85 million) and will be developed in phases.
