Plaskolite

Plaskolite LLC signed a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all assets of Plazit-Polygal, excluding its Russian operations. The acquisition expands Plaskolite's geographic footprint in North America, Europe and South America.

US company Plaskolite has agreed to acquire Plazit-Polygal Plastics from Kibbutz Gazit and Leumi Partners for $210 million. Plazit-Polygal manufactures polycarbonate thermoplastics and profiles.

Plaskolite announced it is acquiring the North American polycarbonate sheet manufacturing business of Covestro, including production sites in Sheffield, Massachusetts. The closing is expected by August 1, 2018.

Plaskolite, LLC announced it is acquiring Lucite International, Inc.'s continuous cast acrylic sheet business, including a 93,375 square foot manufacturing facility in Memphis, Tennessee. The closing is expected by the end of Q1 2018.
