Riverside Medical Packaging

Shawpak, a division of Riverside Medical Packaging, has invested £600,000 in a Chiron 1250 5-axis vertical milling machine from Engineering Technology Group to halve cycle times and target new business in food and medical sectors.

Riverside Medical Packaging, a Derby-based manufacturer of medical packaging machines, plans to create 40 new jobs after investing nearly £100,000 in new technology. The company aims to quadruple sales of its Shawpak thermoforming machinery and target a £2 million boost in sales.
