Popcement JV building $50M cement plant in Uzbekistan
The Uzbek-Chinese-Arab joint venture Popcement has launched construction of a $50 million cement plant in the Pap district of Namangan region, Uzbekistan, with an annual capacity of 500,000 tons and expected to create 700 jobs. Completion is planned for September 2018.
